Company Overview
Pacific Basin Insurance Company (PBIC) was incorporated on December 28, 1998 under the laws of the Commonwealth of Northern Marianas Islands (CNMI). The company was organized primarily to provide a variety of personal and commercial lines of Property and Casualty insurance products except for life insurance with considerable growth for over two decades. PBIC has become a recognized name in insurance in the CNMI.
Having complied with applicable provision of the Commonwealth Insurance Act of 1983 (4 CMC Div 7), the company is authorized to transact, as an insurer in the CNMI for the following classes of insurance products :
- Automobile and Motorcycle
- Worker’s Compensation
- Surety Bonds
- Fire Insurance
- Builder’s Risk
- Public Liability
Intermediaries
To assist the company in providing insurance products and services, PBIC has partnered with four (4) insurance agencies that are strategically located throughout CNMI, namely:
1) Keum Oh Corporation (KOC) – Saipan
2) National Insurance Pacific Agency (NIPA) – Saipan
3) Tinian Transportation Management Solutions (TTMS) – Tinian
4) Quality Automotive Tech (QATR) – Rota
